Lyuminik
A supplier of medical consumables
Lyuminik is a supplier of medical consumables. The task was a fairly practical one: launch a site with a small product range so that a person can quickly see what is on offer, find the right category and move on to buying — without a complicated catalogue or extra screens.
The range held around ten items, so building a heavy online store made no sense. What mattered was organising a small number of products properly and making the interface as obvious as possible.
Make a small product range simple to choose from and buy
Approach
I deliberately kept the product simple.
The categories got simple visual navigation, the catalogue got standard, predictable card mechanics, and the page itself was built around the product rather than around a decorative presentation of the company.
In a medical context that matters especially: the design should help people find their way around the range quickly and convey neatness and order, not compete with the product.

What I did
I worked separately on the category graphics and the interface elements so that even a small range reads as a coherent system rather than a set of random product cards.
Outcome
The result is a compact catalogue where the whole range can be scanned and understood quickly, with no interface to learn.
For me Lyuminik is a good example of a task where the quality of the solution is measured not by how many features it has but by how much unnecessary material was removed: don’t complicate a small product — make the path to the right item as short and as clear as possible.
